WRAP YOURSELF IN COMFORT & THE TIMELESS BEAUTY OF ART
A friend once gave me the pieces of a bowl he'd turned out of rhododendron wood gathered on his land. I made buttons of those beautiful bits of wood, then wove some cloth and made garments to carry those buttons.
I follow this pattern of experience to make one-of-a-kind, comfortable garments with handwoven cloth. My fabrics begin with twelve cones of cotton and rayon yarn, inspired by the colors in a neighbor's faded red barn, a single variegated thread or, perhaps, a wooden button. Color play, woven twill patterns and a 'so soft' feel of the cloth are my trademarks.
From the fabric I create garments with classic lines, styled to flatter a wide range of figures, and to accommodate a maximum range of movement. My shirts and jackets are designed to wear to the office, or to be paired with your favorite jeans. My coats mark special events, and make the everyday special.
